Chichester Triathlon Club adult membership is open to all aged 18 or over, plus we also have our Youths & Juniors squad. We welcome all abilities, from complete newbies curious about entering the wonderful world of triathlon, mid level athletes wanting to take the next race performance step, or seasoned competitors looking to stretch themselves toward new and exciting goals / GB competitions.
Our BTF (British Triathlon Federation) accredited coaching team work hard to foster a growth-focused and fun training environment, inclusive of all abilities while you benchmark your progression against others club members in a friendly, social and supportive club atmosphere.
Membership give you access to our Swim / Bike / Run training session and our CHI TRI events.

Coached club activities are organised via a closed group in the Spond app which gives coaching team real-time updates of those participating allowing them to organise and modify sessions accordingly. Chat and communications are via our private Facebook group, both of which you will be given access to upon joining with full instructions on how to set up and stay connected.

How do I enter competitions? Do I have to?
Although not compulsory all Members are encouraged to enter competitions regardless of ability as a reward for all their training. Think of competing as your ‘Victory lap’ – having spent weeks and months dragging yourself out the door you deserve to receive the adulation and support of the crowds, to feel that amazing sense of achievement topped off with a medal, finishing pic /and or T-shirt .
And that’s the great thing about Triathlon, very few expect to win, so the pressure is off – it’s you against you, so just do your best, be proud of yourself for getting to the start line and see what happens!
Want to race for Great Britain?
A few Chichester Triathlon Club members qualify for their age-group category each year, competing in UK, European and World finals. If you wish, we can help you understand what it takes to make it to these auspicious events should this be a goal. Heavily discounted one-to-one coaching is available on request should you need further support managing your training plan and setting goals be it for GB qualifying simply to make bigger gains.
