A quick report on the Littlehampton Aquathon 2025, AKA the Frosty and the Frostbite…
The weather was perfect for racing… zero wind, blue skies and a cool enough to keep you keen and keep you cool…
A great event with a run that’s flat and fast perfect for PB’s…
The Frosty Race Results:
Andy Smithers won the Frosty OSV category with a overall time of 56:11.7 (swim – inc. transition 13:38.1 and run 42:33.6)
Andy was followed in by Dana Robertson, with a second place in the Frosty OSV category 59:21.6 (swim – inc. transition 16:43.3 and run 42:38.2)
Harvey Woods in the Frosty OS category smashed in a 1:03:35.9 (swim – inc. transition 16:14.2 and run 47:21.7) with a seventh place in cat.
The Frostbite Race Results:
Adam McCulloch came second in the Frostbite OSV category speeding around in a 30:04.8 (swim – inc. transition 7:55.6 and run 21:19.0)
And finally Charlie Bradfield turned in a hard charging first pace in the Frostbite OS category, with a 29:11.5 (swim – inc. transition 21:15.9 and run 21:19.0)
Team turnout for next year!
Overall a great event to blow away the training cobwebs / grind and fire up the new season with fast and fun short course race day.
The run along the seafront is awesome and event is well run and marshalled.
It would be great to get a fuller team turn out next year – and set some early season PB’s too…
